July favourites

July was a crazy month for me, one filled with a lot of love and time spent with people I adore, but it wasn’t without its hiccups. I learnt a lot last month, and I’m grateful for those lessons. 🙂

Today I’m going to be sharing with you the things I have loved this past month!

Book: The Beach by Alex Garland.

Now I know this book is by no means new, but I read it for the first time this month and I absolutely loved it! My friend, Kat recommended it to me years ago and I always meant to pick it up. I saw it at a boot sale a little while ago mega cheap and finally got it! I have to say, this book was not what I was expecting! The twist at the end… Dude.

I also watched the film of the book with Leonardo DiCaprio straight after reading the book. Wasn’t a fan of the movie (though my boyfriend prefers the movie to the book!)

Skincare: Body Shop Tea Tree Targeted Gel

I’ve been in need of a spot treatment for a little while now, but I really didn’t want one with massively crazy ingredients like benzoyl peroxide. When I saw this one in The Body Shop, I thought I would give it a try, and I’ve been loving it! Thinking about giving just plain Tea Tree oil a try next. (Though natural recommendations are welcome!)

Music: The Skinny Confidential ‘VIBEZ’ Playlist

The playlist has quite literally been the only Spotify playlist I’ve listened to all month. It’s perfect, I’ve discovered some new amazing songs from this list and in general, it’s just right up my street. I highly recommend it!

And that’s it for this month! Short and sweet!

I would love to hear from you, what have your favourite products/things been for the past month?

Until next time!
