Happy July everybody! I am welcoming the new month with open arms. June was a difficult month for me, so a fresh start feels nice!
There are a fair few things on my favourites list this month, so read on to find out what they are! Links to where you can purchase these items are below too!
The first thing I’ve loved this month (and am also massively proud of because I made it!) is this blanket.
I had been working on this blanket for about a year, so I felt so proud when it finally came together!
I used King Cole Baby Comfort wool in Silver and Petrol. I knitted two long strips (50 stitches wide) and used about 5 balls for each strip. I then bound them together using more of the silver wool. Its so cosy and I love it!
I have 2 books that I have enjoyed over the past month.
The first was Pretty Happy, by Kate Hudson. I actually first listened to this book on Audible (narrated by Kate herself) and loved it so much, I also bought the physical book too 🙂
This book is full of ideas and ways for you to live a balanced and healthy life. Not just with food, but with your physical self and your mind. I would recommend this book to anybody!
This book is so fascinating! It also makes for a pretty quick read despite the size. I absolutely could not put it down until I had read it from cover to cover.
I also discovered 3 new beauty products that I absolutely love!
The first is the PHB Ethical Beauty Soothing Hand Cream in Organic Lavender This hand cream came in the June LoveLula box. It smells absolutely divine and I’ve been applying this every night before I go to bed because of it’s lovely, relaxing scent. 🙂
The next thing I discovered was the Korres body milk in Bergamot Pear. This has a lovely fresh and fruity smell to it, and has a beautiful consistency! Its not too thick or thin.. It’s juuuuust right. (alright Goldilocks) It also absorbs into the skin really nicely.
And lastly, if you have not smelt the Polynesian Island Tiare range from The Body Shop, you’re missing out. It’s a beautiful exotic scent, it’s perfect for summer!
And that’s all of my favourites for this month! I would love to know if you have tried any of these products for yourself!
