Tips For Being Healthy

First things first. I’m absolutely not saying that you need to look a certain way to be beautiful. You’re all wonderfully beautiful ladies who do not need to change!

However, I think we will all agree, that looking healthy (in whatever capacity) is always a good look.

You can be a curvy mama, a shredded lady, or anything in between! It’s all about what works best for you and how you feel at your healthiest.

I for one, have been that girl that would do anything for a 6 pack. I’ve done Insanity and  been super strict on my diet. But that’s not how I feel my best. I am far happier now, (by making healthy choices when I can, but also not depriving myself) than I ever have been before.

Today I wanted to share my 3 top tips on how to be a little more healthy:

  1. Always eat breakfast! Skipping breakfast means your blood sugar levels are going to be super low.Which will lead to cravings later on in the day. Eating a balanced breakfast means you will be properly sustained until your mid-morning snack, or lunch. You’ll be less likely to binge eat later!   2. Try and do something active every day. Now  I’m not gonna lie and tell you that Ido something every single day. I work in an office, and often when I get home, working out is the last thing on my mind. However just making the conscious choice to try and be active will do you the world of good! I love to do 20-30 minutes yoga in the morning. (Yoga With Adriene and Boho Beautiful on YouTube are my faves!) I also recently tried Clubbercise with my sister and friend. That was a really good laugh! Even just going for a walk will make such a difference! I’ve been loving to make the most of the sunny evenings (when we have them!) and go for a walk along the seafront. So pretty! I also take this time to either listen to a podcast or an audio book!
  3.  Prepare. Try and plan your meals and snacks and ensure you have them with you, or in the cupboards/fridge at home. This will save you the temptation of that chocolate bar when you’re out and about in town, as you’ll have something satisfying and healthy to snack on when you’re peckish. Some of my favourite healthy snacks are; fruit (la duh), Nakd bars, and nuts.
