Feel like I haven’t posted in a while. In reality it’s only been 4 days, but I’ve missed it. Writing this little blog, no matter how many people read it, seems to have turned into a sort of therapy for me. It’s nice and I’m really glad I started it.

This week has been really hard and I haven’t felt like I’ve been in the right place, mentally, to sit down and write anything. 

As I type this (on my phone) I’m currently sitting in a new flat, where we don’t have wifi at the moment. (Thank god for 4G)

Moving is stressful at the best of times. But add that to the fact that a member of my family passed on this week. I can tell you, it’s been a tough one. 

I don’t really have a plan for what I want to say in this post. And please forgive me for this not being one of my normal, light hearted posts. 

I just wanted to say that if you’re having a tough week, I know how you’re feeling. 

If you need someone to tell you it’ll all be okay. I’m that person telling you that now. 

If you feel so overwhelmed right now that you don’t even want to talk to anyone. That’s okay. Take time for you.

You come first. Take the time to recharge yourself, have a bath, go for a walk, bake something. Whatever it is you need to do. Do it. 

It’s not selfish. I promise. 


I’m sorry for this not being a normal post. But I promise I’ll be back with some fun things soon ๐Ÿ™‚
