Local Market Haul

This little piggy went to market…

Oh yes she did.

Saturday marked the day of the monthly market that comes to town. And you betcha bottom dollar I was going, so I thought it would be nice to share what I found!

Of course some of these things you will not be able to buy for yourself, (that’s the beauty of a market! Lots of the things are unique.) But hopefully this’ll encourage you to check out your local market to see what you might find!

First  off, I  knew I had to pick up another tea from The Proper Tea Co which is is a local tea merchant. (I mentioned their coconut tea in my May monthly favourites here) This time, after a chat with the lovely man who runs the stall, I decided to give their blood orange tea a go. I had my first cup as soon as I got home, and might I say, it was bloody lovely. (Of course I had to pick up another pack of the coconut too!)

There was also a stall which sold homemade soaps and candles, as well as tins of lip balms, this peaches and cream one smelt too good to leave! Plus it’s 100% organic which is always a bonus.

The market near me has some really lovely jewellery stalls, (I mentioned one of them in my May monthly favourites too!) This time I found some lovely real silver studs for £3! They were too lovely to leave!

Lastly… Just  as I was leaving the market.. I couldn’t resist.

A slice of apricot and coconut cake was calling out to me. So I took home home with me too. And I cannot wait to tuck into him!

And that’s everything I found this month!

Do you know where your local market is? If not, find out, and make sure to pop down. You never know what lovely things you might find!
